Work through the numbered steps in order. Use the written materials and proportions as your guide; select an image for a closer look.

Build the resin body
Secure bead chain crosswise, leaving the hook eye clear. Glue wraps, coat with resin, and cure fully before continuing.
Bench note Follow the resin maker’s handling and curing instructions.
Tail and underwing
Invert the hook. Secure a short Antron tail; wrap the same bunch along the shank and fold rearward as an underwing.
Add flash
Tie in four flash strands alongside the underwing.
Bench note Flash is optional.
Separate the legs
Secure four silicone strands at their middles. Use crossing wraps to spread four pairs.
Set the hair wing
Clean and align deer hair. Tie it rearward, tips just beyond the hook gap; trim only the forward butts.
Finish the knot
Whip finish at the tie-in point and cut thread. Check the eye, hook point, and freely moving legs.
