Anchor yellow fibers at the bend. Secure tinsel along the shank and leave it trailing.
Build the body
Tie in black yarn, wrap forward, back, and forward again to form a taper. Secure behind the eye.
Rib and throat
Wind open tinsel turns forward and tie off. Attach a sparse yellow-fiber throat underneath the front.
Pair the wings
Mount matched white hackles on opposite sides, extending just beyond the tail. Align before tightening the thread.
Add the cheeks
Secure imitation jungle cock on each side. Cover the butts, whip finish a small black head, and cement.
